Almost Full Circle
The first novel I wrote was a psycho noir novel titled Fast Lane that was first published in a foreign language (Italian) before eventually finding a small press to publish it in English. Now coming almost full circle, what could very well be my last published novel, also noir, and is being released now in German. My original title for this book was Murder Club. My German publisher wanted to publish it as Everything Ends Now, which I agreed to, and somehow it ended up Everything Ends Here. I actually like that title better, and if this circle completes and I find an English publisher for it, I’ll use that one.
There is a (small) chance I’ll find a US or UK publisher for it. My German publisher, Pulp Master, is very good at getting my books reviewed by major German newspapers and magazines—Small Crimes, Killer, and Pariah all got covered very well in Germany. This one is better than those 3—my German publisher thinks so, an editor at Little Brown told me it was one of the best crime novels he had read in years (this was when he thought he’d get permission to publish it and before he was told by his boss that they wouldn’t buy anything of mine until I got a couple of movies made from my books), and my small circle of early readers also think so. So, if this book follows the same path as my other German-published crime novels and gets rave reviews from German newspapers and magazine, will that be enough to get a publisher interested since I only have one movie made and not two? We’ll see.

I love reading your books Dave as long as you continue to write them, I’ll keep getting them
