The Long Tail
Sometimes books fade away and sometimes they have long tails where they’re written about long after they’ve been published. Interestingly, my crime novels have all faded, while my horror novels The Caretaker of Lorne Field, Monster, The Boy Who Killed Demons, and Husk continue to show up in different places long after publication.
Here’s the latest writeup Monster received the other day from Esquire Latin in an article about interesting Frankenstein-related books, with Google proving the translation:
What would happen if the monster told its side of the story? Zeltserman voices Friedrich, the creature who seeks revenge on his creator, only to discover that Frankenstein works alongside the Marquis de Sade himself in experiments more perverse than his own. It is a brutal novel, with a decadent atmosphere, perfect for those who love psychological terror with the aroma of industrial revolution and gothic tragedy.

Not exactly related to the topic, Z’man, but I wanted to let you know I am finally checking out the Julius Katz stories - got the audiobook for a weekend road trip. Will let you know my thoughts!
